the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 1. If it is said to you: Who is your Rabb (Lord)? Say: My Rabb is Allah. 2. If it is said to you: Whats the meaning of Rabb? Say: He is the one who is worshipped, the King, the Controller of affairs. 3. If it is said to you: What are the biggest things you see from His creations? Say: The skies and the earth. 4. If it is said to you: What do you know Him by? Say: I know Him by His signs and His creations. 5. If it is said to you: What are the greatest things you see from His signs? Say: The night and the day, and the evidence for that is His, the Most High, saying: Indeed, your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He rose over (Istawa) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the creation and commandment. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the 'alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)! [7:54]. 6. If it is said to you: Whats the meaning of Allah? Say: The meaning of it is that He is the Possessor of the Uloohiyah and Uboodiyah (i.e. Worship) over all His creation. 7. If it is said to you: For what did Allah create you? Say: For His worship. 8. If it is said to you: What are the things considered to be His worship? Say: His Tawheed (i.e. Singling Him out with all forms of worship), and His obedience. 9. If it is said to you: Whats the evidence for that? Say: And I (Allah) created not the jinn and

mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone) [51:56]. 10. If it is said to you: Whats the first thing that Allah has made obligatory upon you? Say: Disbelieving in all that is worshipped beside Allah, and believing in Allah alone, and the evidence for that is His, the Most High, Saying: There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in all that is worshipped beside Allah and believes in Allah then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower [2:256]. 11. If it is said to you: Whats the most trustworthy handhold? Say: Laa ilaha illa Allah (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah). Meaning (laa ilaha): negation, and (illa Allah): Affirmation. 12. If it is said to you: What are you negating and what are you affirming? Say: Negating all that is worshipped beside Allah, and affirming the worship for Allah alone without any partner. 13. If it is said to you: Whats the evidence for that? Say His, the Most High, saying: And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father and his people: Verily, I am innocent of what you worship [43:26]; this is the evidence of negation. And the evidence for affirmation is: Except Him (i.e. I worship none but Allah Alone) Who did create me; and verily, He will guide me [43:27]. 14. If it is said to you: Whats the difference between the Tawheed Ar-Ruboobiyah and the Tawheed Al-Uloohiyah? Say: Tahweed Ar-Ruboobiyah is the action of the Rabb like the creation, providing sustenance, giving life and death, sending down the rain, letting the plants grow, and managing the affairs. And Tawheed Al- Uloohiyah is your action O Worshiper like the supplication, fear, hope, reliance, repentance, longing, dread, vow, seeking aid, and other than that from the types of worship.

15. If it is said to you: Whats your deen (Way of life)? Say: My deen is Islam, and its origin and foundation are two matters: First: The command to worship Allah alone without any partner, and the incitement upon that, and the loyalty for it and declaring disbelief of one who leaves it. And (Second:) the warning against shirk (associating partners with Allah) in the worship of Allah, and the harshness in that, and the enmity for it, and declaring disbelief of one who does it. And it is built upon five pillars (and they are): Bearing witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and that Muhammad sallallahu alayhe wa sallam is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, giving the obligatory charity (Zakah), fasting the month of Ramadan, and the pilgrimage to the house (of Allah) with the ability to do so. And the evidence for the testimony is His, the Most High, saying: Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He always) maintains His creation in justice. La ilaha illa Huwa, the All Mighty, the All Wise [3:18]. And the evidence for Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah is His, the Most High, saying: Muhammad sallallahu alayhe wa sallam is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last (End) of the Prophets [33:40]. And the evidence for the sincerity of worship, the prayer, and the obligatory charity is His, the Most High, saying: And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As- Salat (the prayers) and give Zakat (obligatory charity), and that is the right religion [98:5]. And the evidence for the fasting is His, the Most High, saying: O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that

you may become Al-Muttaqn (the pious) [2:183]. And the evidence for the hajj is His, the Most High, saying: And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj, then he is a disbeliever of Allah], then Allah stands not in need of any of Al- 'alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists) [3:97]. And the principles of Emaan are six (and they are): To believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and the Pre- decree its good and its bad. And the Ihsaan (perfection): is to worship Allah as if you see Him, if you do not see Him then (Know) He indeed sees you. 16. If it is said to you: Who is you Prophet? Say: Muhammad bin Abdillah bin Abdil Muttaleb ibn Hashim; and Hashim is from Quraysh; and Quraysh from the Arab; and the Arab from the offspring of Ismail bin Ibrahim Al-Khaleel upon our Prophet and upon him be the best of the salah and the salaam. His country is Makkah, he migrated to Madinah, and his age was sixty three (63) years: From them forty (40) was before he became the Prophet, and twenty three (23) years he spent as a prophet and a messenger. He became prophet by (Iqra Read) [Surah Iqra], and he became messenger by (The Muddathther the one enveloped) [Surah Al- Muddathther]. 17. If it is said to you: Did he die or he did not die? Say: He died but his deen did not die and will not die until the Day of Standing. And the evidence is His, the Most High, saying: Verily, you (O Muhammad sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) will die, and verily, they (too) will die. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord [39:30].

18. If it is said to you: Would the people be resurrected after they are dead? Say: Yes; and the evidence is His, the Most High, saying: Thereof (the earth) We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again [20:55]. And the one who denies the resurrection is a disbeliever, and the evidence is His, the Most High, saying: The disbelievers pretend that they will never be resurrected (for the Account). Say (O Muhammad sallallahu alayhe wa sallam): Yes! By my Lord, you will certainly be resurrected, then you will be informed of (and recompensed for) what you did; and that is easy for Allah [64:7]. Sallallahu alaa Muhammad wa alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallam.
