Guitarist and Chicago native Rob Bochnik's resume lists these high points and more, thanks to a fateful invitation almost 15 years ago to join Academy Award-winner Glen Hansard's band, The Frames. The DePaul graduate met the charismatic Irish singer-songwriter at Steve Albini's Northwest Side studio, Electrical Audio, where he was working as a sound engineer while the band was recording its seminal 2001 album "For the Birds."
