I KEEP WANTING TO CALL THIS BIKE A “SLAYER” BUT I CAN’T really do that, can I? The Rocky Mountain Slayer is a slayer. This is an Altitude. I presume the Altitude got its name because it can “reach the highest peaks” or some similar marketing jargon. But if you reach the highest altitude, wouldn’t you want to slay the descent you worked all morning for? Yes, you would. Which is why the latest Altitude is a lot more like a Slayer.
