Canon reveals the EOS 5D Mark IV, complete with new Dual-Pixel Raw file format

HOW do you improve on a flagship camera that’s sold by the bucket-load and is trusted by pro photographers around the world? If the new EOS 5D Mark IV is anything to go by, the answer is: incremental in some places, total overhaul in others.

So what’s new? Well, there’s a new full-frame CMOS sensor that sees a nudge in resolution over the 5D Mark III’s (30.4MP vs 22.3MP). Sensitivity gets a moderate increase in the standard range – up to ISO 32,000
