From 'Unabomber' To 'Mad Bomber,' A Look At Past Serial Bombers

After a string of explosions have shaken Austin, Texas, investigators are hunting for a suspected "serial bomber." Here's a look back at other cases of multiple bombings in the U.S.

Authorities suspect that a "serial bomber" is behind the explosions that have killed two and injured several others in the Texas capital. As more than 500 investigators and bomb techs look for clues to catch the culprit, they likely are relying on lessons learned from past serial bombers and their varied motives.

"Investigators are probably looking at the Unabomber and Mad Bomber cases for tactics on how to crack this case," former FBI profiler Clint Van
