GUATEMALA CITY - Vice President Mike Pence arrived in Guatemala on Thursday to discuss immigration policy and other issues with leaders of Central American countries amid calls that Washington focus more on the conditions that propel migrants north rather than on ways to keep people out.
Pence was scheduled to meet in the Guatemalan capital with the presidents of Guatemala and Honduras and the vice president of El Salvador, officials said.
