BRING OUT LANDSCAPE DETAILS IN RAW

This is especially the case with hazy scenes, where background detail becomes enshrouded in haze or mist as it recedes into the distance. If you shoot in raw format, however, your camera’s sensor will capture a lot more detail than you can see when you check the screen. Provided you preserve your brightest tones at the time of capture, the extra dynamic range offered by a raw file will allow you to coax it out of the file during the conversion process, and produce an image that matches the one you perceived. With a little tweaking, you can increase the impact and create the scene you want, rather than the one nature delivered.
