    Trump Accuses China Of Trying To Interfere In Midterm Elections, Citing Trade Dispute

    President Trump accused China of trying to interfere in upcoming U.S. midterm elections because of the hard line he has taken on trade, airing the claim as he opened Tuesday's meeting of the U.N. Security Council in New York.

    "Regrettably, we found that China has been attempting to interfere in our upcoming 2018 election — coming up in November — against my administration," Trump said.
