MATERIALS

• 24 fat quarters or 30cm (/8yd) cuts of assorted print fabrics – see Note (blocks)

• 10cm ( 1/8yd) solid aqua fabric (block centre squares)

• 4.1m (4 1/2yd) backing fabric

• 55cm ( 5/8yd) aqua print fabric (binding)

• Batting at least 203cm (80in) square

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• Large design wall (optional) – see Note

• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot

• General sewing supplies

Finished size:

183cm (72in) square

Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton, pre-washed and well ironed. Requirements are based on fabric meterage with a usable width of at least 107cm
