MATERIALS

• 13 fat quarters of assorted print fabrics (patchwork)
• 2.3m (2 5/8yd) solid white fabric (lining)
• 2.3m (2 5/8yd) batting – see Note
• Two 7cm (2 3/4in) self-cover buttons
• 20cm (8in) invisible zipper
• 3kg (7lb) fibre fill
• 3.4m (3 3/4yd) pompom braid
• Mechanical pencil or fine-tipped erasable fabric marker
• Paper, cardboard and glue – see Note
• Strong thread such as upholstery cotton
• Long darning or doll needle
• Stiletto or awl (optional)
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with regular, free-motion (optional) and zipper feet
• General sewing supplies

Finished size: 99cm (39in) diameter also purchase a 4 1/2in acrylic hexagon template with 1cm seam allowance and corner holes (as pictured in Step 3) from Fab Laser, phone (02) 4677 2802. Seam allowances of 1cm ( 3/8in) are used throughout, unless otherwise
