TAKING CONTROL

The major drawcard of a home greenhouse is the control it gives you. Any plants you grow in your garden have to be able to handle the prevailing conditions — the daily temperature fluctuations, the available light, the changes in season, the amount of rainfall — or lack thereof. In a greenhouse, you get to control temperature, light, water and humidity, enabling you, among other things, to grow plants you might not otherwise be able to.
