Linen Facts

This fabric is easy to find, easy to work with, and easy to wear and maintain. They are reasonably priced and available in an astonishing range of weights and weaves. Linen is cooperative and dependable and seldom difficult. As you get re-acquainted with this fabric, you will learn how to choose and care for it before, during and after construction.

Linens are delightful fabrics to sew – there’s little they can’t or won’t do. They’re a dressmaker’s dream: they do exactly what they’re told, and they show off details beautifully. Just as rewarding as the finished product is the fun of sewing with linen and cotton.
