    Needles and Tools

    3.25mm knitting needles 2 stitch-holders.

    Wool sewing needle

    2 buttons

    Tension

    30 sts by 44 rows over triangle patt, on 3.25mm needles to 10cm

    Using 3.25mm needles and M, cast on 63 (69, 77, 85, 89, 93) sts.

    Begin Band Patt

    Row 1: K2, * P1, K1, rep from * to last st, K1.

    Row 2: K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end.

    Row 3: Knit.

    Row 4: Knit.

    Last 4 rows form band patt. Rep last 4 rows twice.12 rows in all.

    Knit 1 row.

    Change to C.

    Purl 1 row.
