Doing Our Bit

WE seemed to have dodged a bullet with the NZ government’s ruling on the banning of single-use plastic bags, at least for now, and the reason why is the inclusion of one very important word “shopping” in the rollout of the final legislation. Someone in the chain of political command must have had an epiphany and decided it should read “the banning of single-use plastic shopping bags”. Phew! The bottom line is this: all readers who subscribe to NZHRM will continue to receive their magazines in plastic bags.
