    21, 22, 23, 24 50g balls Jo Sharp Desert Garden Aran Cotton Hand Knitting Yarn in 237 Solstice

    Needles and Tools

    4.50mm knitting needles

    5.00mm knitting needles

    1 x 50cm zipper.

    Tension

    18 sts and 24 rows measured over 10cm (approximately 4”) st st using 5.00mm needles.

    Special Abbreviations

    Dec right - Sl 1, k1, psso, put st back onto left hand needle, bring second st on left hand needle over first st, put st back onto right needle.

    MEASUREMENTS

    STITCH GUIDE POCKET LININGS (MAKE 2)

    Using 5.00mm needles, cast on 25 sts.

    Work 11 rows st st.

    Break yarn, leave sts on a holder.

    LEFT FRONT

    Using 4.50mm needles, cast on 48 (52, 56, 60)sts. Work in k2, p2 rib for 3cm, ending on a WS row.

    Change to 5.00mm needles.* Work 21 rows st st.

    Divide for Pocket

    Next Row: WS - P 28 sts, turn, leave rem sts on a spare needle for pocket back, work on these 28 sts for pocket front.

    POCKET FRONT

    Shape pocket edge: Dec 1 st at beg next row, then at same edge on foll 3rd rows,
