The lights... are on

There were times when you needed a break from the nationals, trying instead a rally with a somewhat different approach. There were some great inland ones with many situated almost in the middle of nowhere. Usually, with a couple of hundred in attendance, they tended to be full of some rather oddball characters. A couple of days before one such event we had gone to the local scooter shop to stock up with oil. Standing by the counter was Frank, a local lad known for his tatty Lambretta.
