Custom scooters have been with us for a while, as the Mod-revival of the late 70s started to dwindle away the new ‘scooter-boy’ look came along, which brought with it chops, cut-downs, dealer specials and no-expense-spared custom scooters. We have to be grateful for this period as it gave us the stepping off point for the production of some of the best custom scooters from then to the present day. As soon as the new breed of custom scooters started to hit the scene an almost out of control rivalry between the owners to have the best full-blown custom scooter began.
