In November 2014 Holocaust survivor Charlotte Adelman received the message she had spent decades hoping for. When she was 11, in 1943, the French-born Adelman had been smuggled out of Paris by her Jewish parents and then spent almost two years hiding from the Nazis with the Quatreville family in eastern France.
