    R. Kelly faces deadline on eviction from Near West Side recording studio

    CHICAGO - Embattled R&B superstar R. Kelly has until early next week to pay nearly $175,000 in back rent and other costs to avoid being evicted from the Chicago recording studio that's become a focus in the continuing fallout over sexual abuse allegations, according to court records obtained by the Chicago Tribune on Monday.

    A one-page eviction order signed by a Cook County judge last week stated Kelly
