MATERIALS
• 70cm ( 3/4yd) white linen (goose’s body and wings)
• 10cm ( 1/8yd) ochre linen (bill and feet)
• 10cm ( 1/8yd) beige/natural linen (bow)
• Fat quarter gold fabric (eggs)
• Batting
• Embroidery silk to match the ochre linen
• Stranded embroidery cotton in mid-brown
• Fibre fill
• Cosmetic blusher
• 2m (2yd) pliable metal craft wire about 2-3mm (/8in) thick
• Pliers
• Two long wooden toothpicks
• Chopstick
• Hot glue gun and glue
• Paper and cardboard (patterns)
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing machine
• General sewing supplies
Stitches used:
French knot, running stitch
Finished size:
43cm (17in) high
Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. It is recommended that fabrics be pre-washed and well ironed. Requirements are based on fabrics with a usable width of 107cm (42in).
