Etihad Business Class to Paris

I’m on the first leg of my flight to Paris via Abu Dhabi, and even though it’s barely 11am, champagne seems like a good idea. I’m in suite 9G – in the middle of the one-two-one cabin configuration – in Business Class, which, along with a handful of First suites and the envy-inducing Residence, occupies the entire upper level of Etihad’s A380s.

I settle in with for the hundredth time – there are endless new releases and TV shows to choose from; I’m just partial to tried-and-tested films in the air. Wrapped in my plush cotton fleece blanket, with amazing noise-cancelling headphones, the experience brings me to tears. As usual.
