During the 80s custom golden era, it seems the main basis of the Lambretta genre was the GP model. Of course, there were some exceptions, but I would guess that the GP dominated 90% of the market. I'm not sure if this was just scooter snobbery or down to the way the cleaner lines offered a better 'canvas', but I’d like to think it was the latter.
