During the 80s custom golden era, it seems the main basis of the Lambretta genre was the GP model. Of course, there were some exceptions, but I would guess that the GP dominated 90% of the market. I'm not sure if this was just scooter snobbery or down to the way the cleaner lines offered a better 'canvas', but I’d like to think it was the latter. However, as stated earlier, there were exceptions to the GP rule, and one such scooter that bucks the trend, and was right up there as a classic during that era, was the luscious ‘Sweeter than Wine.
