Under a clear blue sky in California’s Napa Valley, comedians and longtime friends Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Rachel Dratch and Paula Pell are gathered around a table at a winery doing what they do best: entertaining one another. There are impromptu bursts into song (Prince’s “Diamonds and Pearls” is a fave) and plenty of clinking glasses. “Cheers to aging gracelessly!” jokes Gasteyer. “Cheers to being premenopausal!” adds Pell. The festive atmosphere isn’t surprising, coming from a group who share nearly a quarter century of friendship and showbiz collaboration, from Saturday Night Live to movies and other TV shows. “We like each other,” sums up Dratch.
