Innovative solutions are at the heart of architects Devyani Gupta and Nehit Vij's designs. The duowho founded Intrigue Designshave used this philosophy to create a farmhouse in Delhi called House of Greens (completed earlier this year). The built spaces have been carefully crafted in and around the existing trees that the owners wanted to keep, says Vij. The home is spread over two acres with the gardens punctuated by a swimming deck stretching along the entire front length of the building. The deck has comfortable chairs and a bar, while the climbing bougainvillea on the cantilevered steel pergola envelopes the stone bar placed next to the entrance walkway, says Gupta.
