Three decades had passed since Kev Walsh had ventured into the world of scooters. It had definitely been a wild ride over the years with plenty of ups and downs, from the early days venturing out on the road to the hilarious short-lived trip into scooter sport, playing a part of the group that resurrected the LCGB before going on to be one of the main protagonists of the 1980s rally scene. Whatever Kev did it was big and involved a great deal of pressure. Certainly, over the last few years, the power struggles within the NRC were beginning to take their toll. He needed something to take him away from the worry; a release from it all.
