About this audiobook
Are YOU a genius? You might be surprised.
Gina Rudan lays out a life-changing plan to help listeners tap into practical, street-level, everyday genius that can unleash hidden potential and bring extraordinary success and satisfaction to work and life.
The problem with the concept of genius is that it's a quality-like creativity-that has a magical, elusive connotation. Most people consider genius to be a gift, a "lightning bolt from the gods" that strikes people like Einstein or Mozart, but not the rest of us.
That simply is not true, says Gina Rudan. Every one of us has a capacity for genius. Anyone is capable of achieving something so extraordinary that it could change the game for them, their business, and every aspect of life. In Practical Genius, Rudan shows us how.
The book breaks "practical genius" down into its five basic components, teaching the listener how to identify his or her genius, how to express it in everyday life, how to market it for maximum success, how to surround oneself with genius, and how to sustain genius for a lifetime of personal and professional satisfaction. Each stage has exercises that tease out the learning, leaving the listener feeling accomplished and ready for the next stage. The outcome is a revelation: the ability to realize greatness both in and out of the workplace and the tools to put it to work for extraordinary success.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This is sad. The author considers herself a marketing genius and believes she has something important to say in this book. I found most of the information useless and just an inappropriate use of the word genius. There are some truths that she states but nothing that is not obvious.
