      This story is sad story. John knows the danger of the waste products, but he couldn't stop emitting them because of his owner's comment. He didn't want to quit his job and to lose his money. But after all, he confessed the truth and lost his job, his money and the bond of his family.His fault is very heavy. But if I were in his situation, I also might choose the way he did.

      John Duncan has not had any work for long time but luckily he began to work in a factory as a biologist. He and his family became rich - they can have a big house,boat, all things they want to have.Howener,John have to tell a lie for this happy life.I can understand the reason he didn't say the truth about his job for his family,but I don' t think it's the best way.He was little stupid.This story make us think about how the family should be.

      This is a story of a man who have two children.He began to work at a factory as a biologist.His company produced a lot of the waste products into a river, but those waste products were dangerous.This book tells us there are more important things than money.I think I want to be honest by reading this book.I don't want to lose my important people because of money.

      John,who is a chemist, was unemployed.He got a new job.However,his development polluted water.He knew it but he hid the fact...This story was so interesting for me.Sometimes we tell a lie.It's not always bad .Perhaps,however, we lose everthing because of the lie.We need to have the sence of responsibility what we say or do.

However his son-in-low had found some information about the waste product from the paint factory which John works for. As a chief biologist or a father of his children, what does he speak in the court?If I were him, I'll speak true for people who lives near the factory. I think he is poor because he lost everything.

      This story was pretty interesting I thought. It's about a scientist working at a factory. He is aware that the factory is causing serious pollution, but he worries about what will happen to him if he tells anyone. He is forced to make a difficult moral decision. You might think you can guess what will happen, but actually the ending is a bit unexpected.

      John Duncan was an honest biologist, but he needed money. Because of money, he couldn't afford to be honest. A poison changed him and blinded him...This story is tragedy. The story is interesting, but also very sad. He loved his chiledren, so he got a job, but as a result, he lost the future. It's very difficult problem, I think. A chemical problem is also serious problem.

      　John could get a job in a paint company.He worked as a scientist.Everything seemed to be perfect.He earned much money to build a new house,his chiledren looked so happy,and he could afford to do anything he wanted.But the job graduately changed him and his bihinde beyond his recognition.It was too late to notice that.　Normally I don't read SF story,but it was interesting.I like this main character John because he is honest ,a hardwoker and love his family.Inspite of is effort,he and his sorroundings began to change.I felt sorry of him and scared of his company.It was a little bit long for me to read so it took much tome to finish,but I enjoyed it.

      This is a sad and thought-provoking story. A scientist, Duncan, knew the fact that the company which he worked for discharged a dangerous chemical material in a river. But he could not confess the fact at first because he did not want to lose his job for his family. Of course it is bad thought, but If I were in his situation, I also might choose the way he did.

      An old poor scientist who has two children polluted the river in order to get money for them. One of them was drowning the river, so he confessed what he had done. After that, he lost his job. I think he was a good father because he loved his children and he might have been unable to make a living.

His fault is heavy, so I think he should atone to the sea animals and his daughter for the rest of his life by trying to do his best.

      This story's main character is John Duncun.He is a biologist.He took the job at the chemical factory which product paint.In this factory,he tried to solve waste products problems.But through solution for this,his factory manager,David Wilson and he are going wrong.John thought he was protecting his children.For protecting his children,he have had the job like a poison.Sadly,he lost this job and he was ignored from his family finally...I thought deeply.John Duncun is a very honest man.But he must have become a liar for protect his life and his children.Despite this,he lost many thing(everything).I think he should have caught out his intention.Uh...If he had caught his intention,he would be happy.It is because his children would respect him and everyone would thanked him for protecting natural environment if he had honestly worked.After all,honest people can stay better life than liars,I think.

The job is making sure that everything in the factory is safe. The company makes new paint. But the paint is dangerous. What is he going to do? I think this story may happen in our world. This book makes us considerded about our environment and our lives. You should read this book .

      This is the story of a scientist who works at a chemicals factory. The scientist is forced to do things he knows are wrong by his boss. The story seemed quite predictable to me, but actually it didn't end the way I expected, and I was quite surprised.
