About this audiobook

We're the D'Artigo sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, we are savvy-and sexy-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Camille is a wicked-good witch whose magic is as unpredictable as the weather. My sister Menolly is a vampire trying to get the hang of being undead. And me? I'm Delilah. When I'm under stress, I transform into a tabby cat-and a series of violent murders is really getting me bent out of shape...

Someone's been slaughtering the Weres of the Rainier Puma Pride, and my sisters and I have been enlisted to investigate by Zachary Lyonnesse, golden boy of the werepumas. Right away we smelled demon trouble, and we tracked it directly into the snare of the Hunters Moon Clan, sworn enemies of Puma Pride. But there's more than Were rivalry at work. It's that old demon Shadow Wing who's setting a deadly snare for the Pumas. We have to find out why, which means a visit to one of the Immortals. Unfortunately for my sisters and me, our half-human blood is just enough to put us in mortal danger.

Book 2 in the Otherworld series is an overall progression of the series story but with the youngest sister being the leading character. Fairly good character development. Same leading characters from book 1 are present in this book and a new main man has been added.

Brilliantly funny and a must read for anyone who has a cat. So many laugh out loud moments.

I'm enjoying this series but I hope that in the next books there is less wasted space spent filling the pages with sex. Part of the fun of reading is being able to use your imagination. I like the theme of the stories but find it annoying to have to skip parts so I can get on with the plot.

This book was not as good as the first one. It wasn't a bad book or anything, it just didn't grab me like the one before. I don't know if she just went downhill or if the character just didn't do it for me. The overarching story in these books is good, though, so I'm going to go ahead and read the next one anyway. One thing I've got to comment on though, which is a pet peeve for me with these books, is that I kind of hate the 'romance' (sex) scenes. They're pretty crass and crude. Not sexy at all, just kind of...well...yucky.

A fun shapeshifter fantasy. I liked that there wasn't a pat ending to it; this is meant to be a trilogy of trilogies about the sisters, so I'm sure there's more to come on the relationships and with developing the characters.

When I read the first in this series, Witchling, I really enjoyed it and looked forward this book. While it is a good book, I was not expecting a Nora Roberts-esque change of voice. I was expecting to hear the story from Camille's point of view and instead got Delilah's. Some of the book seemed like there was just too much plot going on, like it was all crammed in...otherwise, I like the sisters, the world, the overarching story...but something about this one was just okay to me...I will have to give the next one a try.

Changeling has Delilah the middle sister who is also a were-cat and her sisters battling were-spiders. Along the way she discovers that there may be some secrets in her past that she doesn't know about. In OW the fighting has began and her father and aunt go into hiding. These books seem to be slow to start and get into. But there is something about them that makes me want to keep reading the series. It may just be that I hate giving up in the middle of the series.

I am enjoying this series so far. I like the fact that it seems each book is going to be from the vantage point of a different sister, that makes it sort of unique. It doesn't have the action of other series and I am not heavily invested in the characters, at least not as much as other series. However, it is a fun read and i look forward to the rest of the series.

A continuation of the story started in Witchling. I much preferred the voice of Delilah of Camille.

"Changeling", the second book in the Sisters of the Moon trilogy, was an engaging and fun read. This series by Yasmine Galenorn,, features three sisters all with different powers, who alternate points of view per book. The first book was narrated by Camille, a witch. The book was appropriately title, "Witchling". This book is told by Camille's sister, Delilah. Delilah is a shapeshifter. Instead of being something big and bad though, Delilah shifts into a tabby- a cute housecat. Maybe its because the world was already set up in the first book, but I found "Changeling" to be more fun and better thought out then "Witchling". This could also be because I find Delilah absolutely enchanting. As a kitty she is adorable. Galenorn must love cats because she has Delilah down pat as a feline. When Delilah is human, she is a unique mix of tough and sensitive. I really like the character. There are some humorous moments at Delilah's behavior with the Yule tree and tendor moments as she wakes up tabby and wants to be petted. This plot was better than the first also. Someone is killing werepumas and Zach hires Delilah to investigate. I liked the side characters quite a bit. Iris the housekeeper, Maggie the baby gargoyle, and Smoky the dragon all liven up this tale. I didn't care for Zach and my biggest complaint is the love triangle between he, Delilah and Chase, a human supernatural investigator. From what I understand in later books Camille has a love square, so I guess I shouldn't complain much. I don't care for all the woman in these paranormal stories who are okay with having multiple lovers- call me a romantic but I'd like to see them have one, or at least one at a time. If it's a part of who they are as a species, why don't we hear about the men having other lovers? Another minor annoyance was Galenorn introduced a new character, who could have been interesting, only to be killed off almost immediately. The death didn't change or further the story so it felt pointless and kind of odd. "Changeling" became very involved and had many side plots interweaved throughout. I'm sure many of these are setting up events in future books, but it caused this book to border on overwhelming. Still I flew through this book and I am very optimistic about this series.

Continuing the story from the first book, the D'Artigo sisters are still in trouble. This time, the POV is from the middle sister, Delilah. She's a shape shifter & the problem involves other shifters. It's pretty well done & entertaining. Sexual tension & some fairly explicit sex, but not so much as to be too distracting from the story. It's actually used fairly well to give some extra punch to the story in places, which surprised me, since I don't usually care for it.Interesting world & while there were some additions/expansions to it, nothing huge. We're pretty much using what was already introduced in the first book, which I appreciated. Mostly the same characters, who are developed more. All in all, a well done book & a quick read. Harder to put down than I would expect!

These sisters are funny. Things just never seem to go their way - due to being half - fae and half-human. But in this book, we follow Delilah who is half- were. But she doesn't turn into a big beautiful cat, she turns into a small little, yellow tabby cat. But that doesn't dampen her instincts or her fighting power.Yasmine Galenorn's series here is incredible. The worlds that she has created to be paralle of Earth is quite interesting and it seems that OtherWorld is having probs of their own. So with all the sisters Earthside they have to try and keep the peace here. But of course, with a little romance and tons of action - this book turned out really good. Even with all the little Spiderlings and such creatures trying to wreck havoc on Earth to take over. Her characters are fun and loveable. You just cannot help but to love the D'Artigo sisters, even when they just can't get a break from killing demons to save people and themselves. It was a little slow in the beginning, but I stuck with it and after a short period found I couldn't put it down, I just had to know what was going on! The plot was amazing, but in the end everything kind of fell nice and neat into place! So I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in this series (and they should be read in order, as to avoid any confusion) - Darkling.

Changeling was a fun read. There were slight inconsistencies here and there, but nothing that would make me put it down. The storyline was well thought out, and exciting. It was interesting to see Galenorn switch the viewpoint of the book from the eldest sister to the middle sister, but it seemed to work. Kudos to Galenorn for keeping all of the facts straight and remembering what things happened to whom, and who else knew about them. Quite a challenge that Galenorn pulled off very well.

Changeling is the second book in the Sisters of the Moon series, the follow-up of Witchling. In Witchling we meet the D'Artigo sisters- Camille, the eldest who is a witch, Delilah, the middle child who is a werecat, and Menolly, the baby of the family who is a vampire. After the plot of Witchling establishes the confusing existance of the three realms- Otherworld, Earth and the Subteranean Realms, Changeling picks up the same plot regarding the big bad evil known as Shadow Wing who is threatening to run the other two realms over. Of course that story alone wouldn't be enough so this book has Delilah approached by a member of the Rainier Puma Pride. The Pride has had a handful of mysterious murders and have finally gotten scared enough to look for help. Insert an even more confusing story about Native Americans who were turned into werespiders that now work for Shadow Wing and have an ancient grudge against the Pumas and you have the basic premise. I know that many others have enjoyed this story more than Witchling, but I am the opposite. I felt that this story was not well plotted so that the two storylines intersected in a way that wasn't confusing and weak. I also feel that these books would have been better if they were not written in the first person perspective because Delilah felt just like Camille to me. In fact, I had a real hard time finishing the book because I could not buy Delilah as an entity unto herself. The books aren't bad by any means, I think they have a great concept and not unlikable characters... I just feel like there too many characters and plots packed into this one book without being fleshed out individually enough to please a fan of other well loved paranormal serieses. The author also did two of my pet peeves in writing in this book which grated my nerves- she would "read directions" or rather write out how the characters were driving to a place down to the right and left turns to the point of seeming like filler AND she introduced a new character VERY late into the book, told us very little about them and then they were killed off like a nameless technician in an episode of Star Trek. I just personally would have preferred having a little bit of a reason to care that the character died, not be left feeling like this one was cannon fodder.

This is one of three books in a series; Changeling, Darkling and Witchling-not necessarily in that oreder. It isn't necessary to read them in order. This was an awesome read as well as the other one I've read, and I can't wait to pick up the third one.

Great cover, good marketing, but I just didn't like the story. Skimmed it. Putting it here so I don't accidentally buy it again.Forgetable (for me) 3 sisters, one a vampire, one a witch and one a shapeshifter who can talk to animals. This is the shapeshifter's book. She turns into a beautiful cat and gets burrs on her bottom. That's about all I read. Didn't grab me.

Another hard miss in the urban fantasy-chicklit hybrid genre. Most of the urban fantasy of this type falls somewhere between the noir PI of the fifties, and the Bridget Jones Diary style chicklit. This one seems to aim somewhere between the TV series 'Charmed' and 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' with disastrous results. The prose is overworked and bad with too many, and very wrong adjectives. The characters are cardboard thin, with little to no discernable motivation for their actions. Their dialog disjoined and accompaniedby random stage notes, the drama is hollow and fail to communicate any sense of real urgency to the reader. Random info is dropped on the reader, without any background to make it usable, or the explanations come much too late, resulting in whole paragraphs which are not understandable in the context and continued annoyances with the lack of meaning. There are several attempts at erotic scenes, but all of them fall flat. Tehy are contrieved and lacks the ability to titillate or stir the reader at all. The sexual drama of the first person narrator seems irrelevant and unconvincing, and very out of place in the world threatening drama we are supposed to care about. The world setting is newer properly developed, which in itself wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't because it, based on the clues in the book, doesn't make a lot of sense. The descriptive passages are pompous and overdramatic, and fails to create any ambience apart from a sense of tacky and fake. This is the second book in a series about three sisters that are part fairies, part human, and stationed on earth as agents of the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. Unfortunately there is a civil war going on in their homeworld, so when they encounter a demon infestation killing of a pride of were pumas, as part of a larger plan to open the gates to hell, they have to handle it themselves. To do tha they enlist the help of a dragon and an elemental lord - which would have reducesd their kick-ass heroine status greatly to me, if they hadn't already showed themselves as unbelievably fake and artificial characters.
