About this audiobook

Out of bail skippers and rent money, Stephanie throws caution to the wind and follows in the entrepreneurial footsteps of Super Bounty Hunter, Ranger, engaging in morally correct and marginally legal enterprises. So, a scumball blows himself to smithereens on her first day of policing a crack house and the sheik she was chauffeuring stole the limo. But hey, nobody's perfect! Anyway, Stephanie has other things on her mind. Her mother wants her to find Uncle Fred who's missing after arguing with his garbage company; homicidal rapist Benito Ramirez is back, quoting scripture and stalking Stephanie; vice cop Joe Morelli has a box of condoms with Stephanie's name on it; and Stephanie's afraid Ranger has his finger on her trigger. The whole gang's here for mirth and mayhem in Janet Evanovich's High Five. Listen at your own risk in public places.

I HATE this unenthusiastic voice! I wish there were several choices to pick from. The first book is narrated by a totally different person. Book 13 is narrated by somebody else as well (I found that one to be the most fitting for Stephanie and the whole novel). I can't listen to this voice((

I didn’t like that it is abridged and the Narrator was so fast it was just hard to listen to. I found a unabridged version that is done by cj crit like the rest of the series

Narrator spoke too fast and words seem to be garbled together.

As to all the books in this series, I absolutely love it! This one definitely left the biggest cliffhanger at the end!

I was surprised to read some of the negative comments about this book’s reader, I loved Debi Mazar’s narration; it was ‘pure Stephanie Plum’…

The audiobook is abridged so a lot is missing. Debi Mazar may be a good actress but not an audiobook narrator. The voice is wrong for Stephanie, she doesn’t do voices for the other characters, and she rushes through things.

Story is a 4 and performance is a 2... I like the original narrator much better!

First , I LOVE Janet Evanovich. I read everything I can get my hand on. Especially the Plum series. She has me literally laughing out loud. I recently discovered audiobooks and I find myself looking for these more than actual books. I can drive, walk, work and do chores while listening to audio books. I have never had an issue with the narration but with this one she goes way to fast and reads monotone. Not good, not good at all. I like CJ. Critt and the other narrator,(I believe her name is Lori King). They make the books come alive especially Grandma Mazer!
