    Candace Carmichael was just getting used to the lavish life when

      Good story about a mixed race couple and the problems they faced even today along with their personal issues. I liked that they were friends first and honest with each other. Candy unhappily returns to her hometown, flat broke, driving on fumes when she is pulled over by her old friend sheriff Turner.

      Fun little romance about a woman who loses everything and comes back to her hometown. She's a mess, but she sorts it out with a little help from her friends.
