- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I picked this book up expecting to feel brain cells dying as I read it. I was very wrong; I can see why my students enjoy this series so much. It's very well written (albeit extremely simplistic) and interesting. It was an extremely quick read and is educational, to boot!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Jack and Annie on their trip to the Wild West to solve their second riddle in order to become a Master Librarian. They met the Slim, the author of the book they was using to go back to the Wild West. Slim helped them to fingure out the answer for the riddle, that is echo. Annie helped Slim left his Wild West life and follow his dream to become a writter which he wrote that book dedicate to them: Jack and Annie.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Jack & Annie go back to the Old West and visit a ghost town with real ghosts! They also encounter some cattle rustlers and a kindly cowboy named Slim. It's a fun adventure with a riddle to solve.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I hate ghost because it is scary.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Growing up I was always a fan of the Magic Tree House series. I enjoyed this particular book, “Ghost Town At Sundown”, for a few reasons. In the beginning of the book the riddle is given to the reader. The riddle is a way to draw the reader in. I loved this aspect of the book. The entire time I was reading, I kept thinking about the riddle and what the answer could be. This kept me constantly engaged in the text. The next reason why I enjoyed this book was the pictures. Even though this book is a chapter book, the images are descriptive enough to help younger readers build their sense of imagery when reading along through the text. The main idea of this story was to solve a riddle and mystery that took place in the old Wild West.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Jack and Annie travel back to the Wild west and help reunite a mama mustang with her colt, give a cowboy advise on his career, and solve the riddle bringing them closer to becoming Master Librarians. This is a good book for young readers as the series is enthralling and also encourages reading.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book it was really cute. I loved how they ended it. It was the cutest book I ever read it was my favorite in the series. I really liked the cowboy person he was really nice. I would recomend it to all perants to give to there kids and any elementry school kids.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I find this to be a excellent book to read to second graders it is a great book. Also it's my nieces favorites.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5this book is full of mysteries and action. The main characters are jack and annie. They go on a quest to help morgan find spells. They run into some trouble and have to fight their way out.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I liked it because one thing was named after an animal--it was called Rattlensnake Flasts. It was a little funny.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Jack and Annie must solve another riddle, but they also feel they must help a cow boy get his horses back from the theives who stole them. They accomplish both goals- bringing them one step closer to becoming master librariens.
