- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved the short stories need more like these
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was riveting. It captured my attention with the first story and kept it throughout the book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is one book of short stories that left me with an interest in a few new authors to add to my list.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5i loved loved loved this book. I love how the stories are short but filled with so much information. very satisfied :)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Pretty explicit stories featuring strong heroines. First story, Dying to Be A Star, follows a naive preacher's daughter's struggles to rise up in Atlanta's R&B industry, she gets to "sin" a lot and we get to read all about it before the inevitable conclusion. Second story, Money, Stilettos and Disrespect, was more violent than expected, it's about three sisters dealing with the violent death of their mother, a sobering story about the price of revenge.
