About this audiobook

The sleepy town of Acorn Hill is in for a surprise when the three Howard sisters reunite after the death of their father. Each has inherited a share of his worn-down Victorian house, and they dream of turning the family home into a bed-and-breakfast. But these three women are as different as siblings can be - can they survive living together, let alone going into business together? It looks like their dream may be headed for disaster! Only by learning to work together, trusting in God, and accepting a little help from their friends can the three sisters see Grace Chapel Inn open its doors.

Light Christian book. In Acorn Hill, a town that seems to be outside of Philadelphia, the late reverend's three daughters come back to town and decide to turn their childhood home into a bed and breakfast inn.

Good start off to the series of the Grace Chapel Inn. I am looking forward to finding out how the Inn works out for these sisters. It was interesting and heartening to see how the opinions of the town turned around from opposition to support for the endeavor. While this is Christian fiction, it is not preachy or overt or judgmental. I liked the details of the room decorating too. The characters are quirky but also realistic. I think the writing could use some editing though, especially in the last chapter.
