About this audiobook

For goth-girl Raven, dating her dream boyfriend is complicated, especially because Alexander's secret means that they can see each other only at night.

And now the pair must be extra wary in the dark with Alexander's archrival, Jagger, appearing around town. As if Jagger isn't enough cause for worry, Luna, his strikingly pale sister, has also surfaced and seems to have her sights set on Raven's longtime nemesis, Trevor. Together, Raven and Alexander must begin a terrifying search for Jagger and Luna's hideout to drive them away -- that is, if it's not already too late to save Dullsville from becoming Vampireville.

In the latest installment of her popular Vampire Kisses books, Ellen Schreiber continues the startling story of two teen outsiders -- she from the mortal world and he from the Underworld -- who share a thrilling, extraordinary romance.

This volume is actually a little better than the others, and the books are stepping it up a bit more. It is still a rather simple read, but the end actually had a plot twist I was not quite expecting. Still only gets three stars though.

This is where this series get better. Not only Raven pretends to be a vampire bonded to Alexander for eternity she is now acting as Nancy Drew while looking for the hidden lair of the nefarious Maxwell twins. Arch-enemy Trevor got entangled in this vampire revenge, Luna- vampire teen who got stood up by the altar was planning to take Trevor as his mate. Or is that really the plan? Once again join Raven and her cohorts in this enjoyable read. I wish that Schreiber would let at least one other mortal character finds out that Alexander is indeed a child of the night so Raven won't be burdened with all the secrets.

I am reviewing the book, "Vampireville" by: Ellen Schreiber. I chose to read this book because it is the third book in the Vampire Kisses series; which is what I am curently reading. I really enjoyed it. I thought the idea of twin vampires was really cool. (For yous who don't know, I am talking about Jagger and Luna Maxwell.) It was creative. I also thought it was scary when Luna started talking to Raven about being a vampire. I thought this because Raven was lying, and is not really a vampire. But Luna is, and she could attack, and possibly kill her. I also feel really sorry for her friend Becky, because Raven is not telling her that her boyfriend is indeed a vampire. I really liked this book. It didn't meet my expectations. It didn't because I didn't think Jagger would have a twin sister. He does. I also didn't expect Luna to be Alexander's ex-girlfriend. That was just weird! So I enjoyed the twists, and the whole book itself.

A fitting continuation of the adventures of Goth Girl Raven in Dullsville. Both entertaining and enjoyable.

Vampireville picks up where Vampire Kisses 2 left off. Gothic Ravin in her Hot Topic attire and accessories is determined to save her high school nemises Trevor from becoming a vampire at the hands of Luna. When she's not trying to convince Trevor that Luna is bad news, Ravin is flirting with her vampire boyfriend, Alexander. Together Ravin and Alexander come up with a scheme to get rid of the vampiric twins, Jagger and Luna, before they can turn Dullsville into Vampireville.Although I am a big fan of the YA vampire genre the Vampire Kisses stories unfortunately are not my favorites. Ravin strikes me as a bit silly and Alexander a bit two dimensional. However, the stories move quickly along and are interesting enought to hold my attention. I found the last couple chapters of the book were the best written and will probably read the fourth Vampire Kisses story when it comes out.
