About this audiobook

Ever since Grandma Lou gave her that squished penny, Judy can't stop winning-at bowling, at spelling, at everything! For sure and absolute positive, she'll ride that wave of good fortune all the way to the nation's capital. Watch out, D.C. Here comes Judy Moody, the luckiest kid ever!

Luckiest, that is, until her lucky penny has an unlucky accident. Suddenly it's good-bye, Lucky Duck! Hello, C-A-L-A-M-I-T-Y!

Has Judy's luck gone down the toilet for good? Why do some people have all the luck, while she gets stuck with a yard full of three-not-four-leaf clovers, a runaway potbellied pig, and a squashed penny with cooties?

Ever since Grandma gave Judy a lucky penny, nothing can go wrong-- she's able to get the stuffed animal prize in the claw game, she finds $10, she even bowls a turkey at the bowling alley! But all that changes when the penny gets dropped in the toilet. Afterwards, Judy can't seem to find ANY good luck. She was so looking forward to going to Washington, DC as the third-grade winner of the spelling bee, but after the penny fiasco, Judy loses to Jessica Finch! Even when Judy finds out that her family is going to go along so that Judy can babysit Jessica's pet pig, Judy almost loses the pig. But Judy slowly realizes that good luck is out there, lucky penny or not, if she only keeps an eye out for it. A solid addition to the Judy Moody series.
