- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Just didn't like this reader. His emphasis and rhythm is off. Please try again, so we could choose between narrators. The book is fine; the performance is disappointing.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book is awesome. Vince Flynn was awesome and Mitch Rapp is one of the classic protagonists. This audiobook is awful.
The narrator is TERRIBLE. He makes Mitch Rapp sound like a wimp. Mitch Rapp kills people for a living. He doesn’t sound like a whiney, nasily, pimple faced teenager. Tried to tolerate it, but couldn’t. I even ramped it up to 1.5x speed. Faster pace didn’t make this guy any better. This narrator sounds like he should be reading Downton Abbey or a Sesame Street book or something. Not the right genre for this guy.2 people found this helpful
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Not too crazy about the narrator, however; these are my favorites series!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love this series. I wasn’t as crazy about the narrator but he was ok. I’ve read or listened to all of the books written by Flynn. I couldn’t get into Survivor which added Kyle as author and haven’t read any after that. Flynn was the best but I’m going to listen or read the rest. Great series!

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Narrator is so horrible that I stopped listening to it, instead I downloaded the ebook to read. The book is excellent as all others by the same author.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Story, plot etc., were okay. However, the narration was simply awful.
Odd mispronunciations (some egregious), strange intonation throughout, inconsistent character voices, and all delivered as though every character was an angry teenager.. baffling frankly. Particularly as other books In this series are well voiced.
Had to speed through this one at 2x.2 people found this helpful

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Ken Kilban butchered the reading! It’s the worst performance I’ve heard. His voice is great, but he makes everyone sound like a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum. So hard to listen to.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The narrator makes it really hard to listen to. Other than that it’s a good book.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I loved this book, but I had trouble tolerating the reader. I felt like the emotional interpretation of the author’s characters was off. I just about gave up on the book, but the content enabled me to endure to the end.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Awesome story and as other reviewer’s have already said, one of the worst narration I’ve ever heard. It ruined the experience in many ways.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Thoroughly enjoyed the audio book, just wish the next in the series was available now.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I thought the book was very exciting and interesting however it had a lot of blank spots in it. Where is telling the story and then the story just stops and then it picks up again like 3 to 5 seconds. Very frustrating
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow, fast paced, characters well defined, a definite read or listen
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Believable characters and situations. Really good book. Could not stop reading .
RFS - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I know that this series moves on - but for me this could have been the resolved and happy ending for Mitch Rapp.
Most story threads were neatly wrapped up and you breathed a sigh of relief.
The love story got its moment of bliss and the bad guy got what was so deservedly coming to him.
That said, I’m taking a break from Mitch Rapp for a bit. I love the books, but I need a break from the constant adrenaline rush! - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The narrator is terrible. It’s hard to really get into the story with the voices that he has for the characters he should switch over to Brad Thor is narrator who is amazing. I may have to read the books going forward because I just cannot listen to this guy.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5How does he do it? One suspenseful moment after another. Already for his next adventure.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great book bringing all the players together after the death of Thomas Stansfield. I wish he were still alive
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Great series of books but the girlfriend is so annoying!!! I really was hoping she would leave him so I never had to hear her whining dialog again.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent. The best read yet of all the Mitch Rapp series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I’ve enjoyed the series except for the Annoying Anna. This book was an excellent culmination to several plot lines introduced previously.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Political thriller that doesn't age well. The cartoon characterizations of the central figures reflect the prevailing right wing paranoia prevalent prior to the actual invasion of Iraq. The book reads like an inside the security apparatus rationale for the actions that resulted in the disaster that became the Iraq occupation. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the action and the spy vs spy interplay.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Separation of Power is a book full of mystery and intrigue. I like this book because it has different information added to your knowledge every page.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5CIA director Thomas Stansfield is dead -- a fact many individuals in and around the nation's capital are pleased to hear. But their happiness proves to be short-lived once they learn that Stansfield's successor is the late director's close friend and protégé, Dr. Irene Kennedy. Her plan of action is to pursue the very goals Stansfield established -- something Stansfield's fiercest enemies don't want to hear. And something they refuse to accept.Meanwhile, Israel has discovered that Saddam Hussein is close to entering the nuclear arms race -- and they've vowed to stop the Iraqi madman before he can get his hands on the ultimate weapon. With the Middle East teetering on the precipice of chaos and devastation, the president of the United States is forced to act. The commander in chief's secret weapon? None other than the CIA's top counterterrorism operative, Mitch Rapp. But the window for action on this crucial mission is incredibly tight. Israel has given the United States only two weeks to take the nukes out. After that, they'll do whatever it takes to destroy the weapons themselves. With the haunting specter of World War III looming, Rapp races against time and impossible odds -- navigating the deadly alleys of Baghdad, tearing through the corruption-riddled streets of Washington, D.C., and taking drastic measures against anyone who gets in his way.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is another solid book about CIA operator Mitch Rapp. Rapp along with his team of operators have to stop Hussein from building a nuke, and by the way he stills has to help fix things at home because a corrupt Senator is trying to his his boss (Kennedy) fired. I have enjoyed this series of books and am looking forward to one day Michael Bay or JJ Abrams creating the Rapp universe.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I probably should have given this one better than 3 stars, but it wasn't quite good enough for 4, and I still refuse to make things more complicated for myself by giving half stars of any sort to any book. There are better spy novels, and better action novels, and better political novels. But this one is just fun. There's just enough detail to convince you that Flynn really knows what he's talking about without being so much that it slows things down. He's not trying to go down the dark path that le Carre did before him, but is trying to write a good action story with clear good guys and clear bad guys. In doing so, he probably exaggerates a bit, and his characters are sometimes weak, but they do have real motives and real emotions. This is one I wouldn't recommend to everyone, but if you like political thrillers, check it out.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Action, compassion, political. This is the first book I’ve listened to by Vince Flynn. I’ve already downloaded the sequel!!
