      This book was actually better than I thought it would be but still pretty superficial and predictable.

      Inhaltsangabe:Schon seit einigen Jahren verbringen die drei Männer ihren Urlaub auf der Yacht Blue Moon und reisen von einem angesagten Urlaubsort zum nächsten an der Mittelmeerküste.Charles Harrington, dem die Yacht gehört, ist in eine reiche und liebevolle Familie geboren, aber das Schicksal schlug erbarmungslos zu: Erst verstarben die Eltern, dann die Schwester. Mehrere Verlobungen wurden bereits gelöst, denn Charles findet immer wieder irgendwas an den Frauen, was ihn vor einer Heirat zurück schreckt.Adam Weiss ist Anwalt für berühmte Persönlichkeiten, privat ist allerdings nicht alles gut gelaufen. Seine Frau hat ihn betrogen und er wird von seiner Familie auch noch verantwortlich dafür gemacht. Sein Kampf um Anerkennung scheint sinnlos und so zahlt er seinen zahllosen Liebschaften lieber plastische OP’s als das er sich auf eine neue Beziehung einlässt.Gray Hawk ist leidenschaftlicher Künstler und er leidet am Helfersyndrom. Denn bislang hat er nur Frauen kennen gelernt, die drogenabhängig oder psychische Wracks waren. Die Trennungen verliefen bislang ziemlich hässlich.Nun verbringen sie wieder einen Urlaub zusammen und obwohl sie sich mit allem sträuben, wird es viele Überraschungen in ihrem Leben geben.Mein Fazit:Dieses Buch habe ich schon lange in meinem Regal stehen und ich meine mich zu erinnern, es auch mal begonnen haben zu lesen. Aber es hat damals schon ziemlich langweilig begonnen und als ich es wieder in die Hand nahm, empfand ich genauso. Aber ich war nun gewillt, es wenigstens zu versuchen.Danielle Steel bewegt sich hier in ihren Kreisen, die Reichen und Schönen – die scheinbar ein sorgloses Leben führen (können). Nun, die Sorglosigkeit ist natürlich nur auf dem ersten Blick zu vermuten. Bei näherer Betrachtung erkennt man schon gewisse Narben bei den Protagonisten. Alle drei Männer haben in irgendeiner Form Pech mit den Frauen und sind doch im Grunde ihres Herzens sehr einsam. Doch dann beginnt für alle drei eine recht abenteuerliche Reise. Natürlich lernen sie Frauen kennen, die ihnen in irgendeiner Weise wichtig werden.Wer die Bücher von Danielle Steel kennt, wird hier kaum Überraschungen erleben. Ihr Schreibstil und die Art Geschichten zu erzählen hat sich in den letzten Jahren einfach nicht verändert. Das bedauere ich unheimlich, denn ich habe die Bücher bislang wirklich alle gern gelesen. Aber dieses hier ist mein erstes drei Sterne Buch.Der Lebensstil ist ja angenehm und schön, aber auch recht langweilig. Und die Entwicklungen der Progatonisten überraschten mich überhaupt nicht, daher hat es eine hohe Vorsehbarkeit, was mir auch das Vergnügen beim Lesen erheblich genommen hat. Dennoch habe ich tapfer durchgehalten.Dieses Mal gibt es keine Lese-Empfehlung, schade, vielleicht sollte die Autorin wirklich mal was Neues ausprobieren.Veröffentlicht am 03.11.16!

      I was really surprised to enjoy this novel as much as I did. I think that this is the first Danielle Steel novel that I have ever read and it was just a really good romance. Predictable but enjoyable.
