- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is the first in a new series called Urban Underground. It almost seems to be a formula written book. Family issues, school bully, girls, teachers...
Kevin is harboring family secrets that he closely guards when he moves from his small Texas town to a large school in California. He is immediately targeted by the school bully. The story is good, sweet, clean and predictible. I think middle schoolers will enjoy the series because of the familiar teenage issues. Also the book is small and a quick read. I predict my reluctant readers should pick this one up.
