Though we may start out as "two peas in a pod", we often lose touch with one another. In this affecting tale of two adults who reclaim their childhood bond after 30 years apart, the comforts of friendship are affirmed with humor and wit.
The second story, "The Frog Jumped Twice", recalls a childhood lesson, learned at no small cost, that comes to full flower in adulthood. As usual, Davis deftly disguises a realization of enduring values in the guise of humor and remembrance.

Donald Davis was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2013 and lost his wife to cancer in 2020. As long as he has a left hand that he can type with, he chooses to inspire others not to give up. He has found his faith and has chosen to live his life for Christ.
