About this audiobook
His friends wish he'd come back, too-and fast. The threat of war looms over the land like a dark cloud. The king is brutally suppressing his subjects, acting more ruthless than ever before. And the most powerful witch in Faerie, banished to a remote island, isn't letting that stop her from sowing the seeds of destruction.
Gary wants to escape responsibility in his own life. But Faerie's heroic dragonslayer once again has the fate of the world in his hands.
R. A. Salvatore
Over three decades ago, R. A. Salvatore created the character of Drizzt Do’Urden, the dark elf who has withstood the test of time to stand today as an icon in the fantasy genre. With his work in the Forgotten Realms, the Crimson Shadow, the DemonWars Saga, and other series, Salvatore has sold more than thirty million books worldwide and has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list more than two dozen times. He considers writing to be his personal journey, but still, he’s quite pleased that so many are walking the road beside him! R.A. lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Diane, and their two dogs, Dexter and Pikel. He still plays softball for his team, Clan Battlehammer, and enjoys his weekly DemonWars: Reformation RPG and Dungeons & Dragons 5e games.

Reviews for Dragonslayer's Return

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I had to re-read this before I could review it, because the first time, absolutely nothing stuck in my head. Once again Gary goes to Faerie and meets his friends the dwarf, the elf and the leprechaun. This time, his wife goes along. On the bad side the group of heroes is pretty much standard for Salvatore. On the good side, the leprechaun is the most interesting of the bunch, and Salvatore does a great job showing what can be done with illusions. However... the plot isn't all that original (it features a Battle of the Five Armies) and with possibly the exception of the elf, the characters are shallow.
