- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Absolute rubbish. "How to write a book this weekend" can be summed up in a couple of sentences - "you don't. You ramble to a voice recorder for a weekend, then you have to spend weeks transcribing, editing and polishing it. But the audio recording is the hard part, honest!"
I have dozens of these "weekend books" - rough first or audio drafts that I did in one weekend or even in a single day. They're not books, and for all Vic Johnson's talk about the importance of evergreen books and adding something of value to your reader's lives, this isn't a book either. It's a good title and a waste of time.4 people found this helpful
