About this audiobook
In the dramatic finale of #1 New York Times bestselling author Sandra Brown's popular Texas! trilogy, the headstrong youngest daughter of the Tyler family finally steps out of the shadows cast by her two older brothers. But forging her own path will take every ounce of savvy in Sage Tyler's possession.
The youngest heir to her family's oil fortune, Sage has always been the unbridled spitfire in the Tyler clan. Now, fresh out of college, she's looking to settle down at last with her safe, upper-crust fiancé. Then into her life saunters Harlan Boyd, a rootless drifter recently hired for a Tyler Drilling Company project. Harlan's just the sort of man Sage should avoid, but there's something irresistible about the laconic cowboy that intrigues her.
When a financial crisis threatens to wreck Tyler Drilling for good, Sage and Harlan must channel their simmering chemistry into the task of saving the family business. But can she trust a man who shares her maverick spirit-and harbors long-held secrets of his own?

Reviews for Texas! Sage

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I read the other two books in this series many years ago when I was in my teens and quite enjoyed them but I don't know if it is because I'm older now or if this one was just dated on so many levels it irritated me on many levels. Firstly, this was clearly written in the 1980's and every fashion mention brought mental images of my childhood and so many badly dressed actors in 80's movies (Not really something I can blame the author for). Secondly, the hero was just a bit of a dick. Thirdly, Sage, the heroine, was trying to prove herself in a male dominated business and still retain her "femininity" - this is something that is still relevant today- but the way she, her thought processes and the other characters were described was just patronising / ewww / dated / cringy.
And Finally, the way the hero describes his relationship to a woman who turns out to be his mum is JUST WRONG!
While the general themes are still relevant it is interesting to see how we have changed and still not changed.
Or I have just grown up. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I love Sandra brown her books are consistently good so i have gone back and read a lot of her older books these are just as good . they are what I consider a very easy read. you know the man is going to get the girl before you start but its a easy read
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5There's not even a pretense of suspense in this one. Pretty much a straight, predictable romance, complete with silver-screen caliber ending and a sappy everyone-lives-happily-ever-after epilogue.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5must read! light, funny and romantic. never stops being a good read. Read it more than one, it's just that good
