- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Fun in a snarky, dark kind of way. Diary format does not really allow you to experience the story, but I think the authors did as well as they could within that format. It's a little hard to know what to think about a character like Emily who's supposed to be a hero and anti-hero at the same time, but I'm sure there are a lot of outsiders who will identify with the mad scientist/painter/skateboarder. Personally, I found the cats more sympathetic than Emily.
