I have listened to it multiple times and as I have implemented the ideas suggested here, doors have opened up and so many prosperous things are happening in all areas of my life. I am immersing myself if her other books on prosperity as well, which are insightful for my journey.
I have found for myself prosperity thinking is the best way to live life. It brings me joy, calmness, and peace.

Catherine Ponder is one of my favourite authors. She was born in 1927 and her first books were published in the 1960s. As far as I am aware, she is still alive. She tells us that we should desire prosperity – it is not unspiritual to be prosperous. In fact, poverty is a sin, a form of disease.Prosperity is our divine heritage and “success is divinely ordained”.Catherine informs us that the Bible is “the greatest textbook on prosperity ever written”.One woman, whenever she had a financial need, had great success when thinking on these words: “Be still and know that I am God at work in this situation now”.Another useful prayer is “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.”We must consistently think of God as the Source of our supply. One saleswoman whose sales had fallen off began to affirm over and over from the Lord’s Prayer “Give me this day my daily bread”, whereafter her sales increased tremendously and neighbours brought her dishes of food as a token of their esteem, and friends invited her to dinner.Catherine tells us of her own extreme financial difficulties when widowed and with an infant son, and how she learnt that her potential wealth, health and happiness were actually within herself. She was led to become a minister in order to help others to “realize and apply the spiritual and mental keys to healthy --- prosperous living”.We learn about the vacuum law of prosperity: if you want great good, greater prosperity in your life, start forming a vacuum to receive it, In other words, get rid of what you don’t want to make room for what you do want. She recounts the story of a man who was very ill and who, remembering the vacuum law, realized he needed to release a strong grudge against a certain person. He began to declare over and over: “I fully and freely forgive you, I loose and let you go.” A feeling of peace came over him, he slept peacefully and the next morning his fever was gone; he was on the road to recovery. She provides us with a forgiveness technique by which to form a vacuum, Sit for half an hour every day and mentally forgive everyone that you are out of harmony with or feel badly about.Instead of making a lot of New Year resolutions, write a letter to God listing all your desires for the New Year. But you must be honest and express your really deep feelings, otherwise it will not work.Catherine writes about “the imaging law of prosperity”. By “imaging” she means what we today mostly call “visualizing”.We are informed of how Napoleon used the imaging law by keeping a huge map before him with coloured flags indicating the various moves he planned for his armies to take, months in advance. He even used the prosperity techniques of writing down his desires and plans. But he met his Waterloo because “he in a great measure used destructively the very techniques that are so powerful for good when used in a positive manner”.There’s a chapter dealing with the prosperity law of command, which is a positive assertion of the good we wish to experience.Catherine quotes the Bible, as she often does. “Thou shalt decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee and light shall shine upon thy ways.” (Job 22:28)The power of words is immense. We must cease using negative phrases such as “I’d give my right arm if I could ---“ and “I’m going to turn a deaf ear to that”.Affirmations are a form of command. We are provided with many powerful ones, for example, “Everything and everybody prospers me now and I prosper everything and everybody now.” And, “Divine order is now established and maintained. Harmony reigns supreme.”She gives us a chapter dealing with the prosperity law of persistence. We mustn’t surrender to defeat and must refuse “No” as an answer.“It is my divine destiny to succeed, and it is God’s business to help me. I expect and claim His divine help now.”We are told that for every problem there is a way out.“There is a divine solution to this situation.” “The divine solution now quickly and easily appears. I am now guided, healed, prospered and blessed.”The book is filled with numerous suggestions about how to prosper. Chapters include “The prosperity law of prayer”, “The prosperity law of self-confidence”, “Your genius powers for prosperity”, “What about indebtedness?” and “Health and prosperous thinking”.Catherine had her heyday in the middle of the 20th Century and the book is written in her characteristic style, which may seem old-fashioned. It is filled with inspirational stories from her own life and those of her clients and also with innumerable biblical quotes, which may be off-putting to some. I greatly appreciate them though I am not myself religious.Catherine’s books are never out-of-date in the sense that they will always motivate and inspire, and I recommend that you read this book too if you desire to attract prosperity and abundance.
