About this audiobook
Snuggle close to your little one and enjoy this rhyming story about mommy animals gently tucking their babies into bed. “It’s night-night time,” said Mama Horse as her little foal softly neighed. “Snuggle close, and bow your head. Our nighttime prayers, we’ll say.” Mama Cat, Raccoon, Cow, Mouse, Horse, and Bird, each say “good night” to their babies in a different, caring way.
Young listeners will be captivated by the comforting story. This book is the perfect way to end a busy day. Other titles in the Bedtime Series include: "Sleep, My Little One", "The Night-Night Song", "I Love You More", "It’s Night, Night Time", and "I Thank God For You".

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This board book is a bit off for me, although the parts aren't that bad, but put together as a whole, something doesn't work. The story is about various animals coaxing their children to bed, one way or another, concluding with a human mom and her baby. The book is told in rhyme, and while it is not horrible, it's not great either. The sentences aren't contorted to fit the rhyme scheme (well, just a couple), but the rhyme scheme is clearly more important than the subject of the lines, and the whole effect feels a bit insipid. The illustrations are similarly mediocre. I hate disliking this series of board books, because I do admire the women who put them together and their motivations, I just think they are not quality books. The CDs help, but as far as the book itself, the only one of this set of three we received as a gift that I actually like is the book of nursery rhymes. Night-Night Time and its companion, another bed time story, are good in concept but poor in execution.
