About this audiobook

What Kathleen Turner doesn’t know just may kill her.

Her boyfriend, Navy SEAL turned high-powered attorney Blane Kirk, is keeping secrets from her—the deadly kind—and it may end their relationship before it’s even begun.

Someone in the shadows is stalking and terrorizing Kathleen, and Blane must lose a trial with far-reaching ramifications if he wants to keep her alive. Blane turns to assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon to keep Kathleen safe, a strategy that may backfire in more ways than one. Though Kade swears he hates her, he’s helpless to guard against things he’s never felt before and when they’re together, Kathleen sees something forbidden in his eyes.

Kathleen must find the truth behind the lies before her time, and luck, runs out, or she may pay the ultimate price for falling in love with Blane Kirk.

I'm over with this series! This is my last book since there are so many things I totally dislike about it.

Like the fact that Blake has no respect for Kathleen. He treats her exactly like one of his bimbos. Ok, I don't respect her either, but anyway. Kathleen is not easy to like. She should be a strong heroine but instead she is just silly and naïve. Mostly, she acts without thinking and risks her life for no reason. She is just one of those too stupid to live heroines.

Finally, there is also some kind of a love triangle in the whole story which I generally hate. And to make it worse this one includes love-hate relation between Kathleen and Kade. Why Kade and Blake are both fascinated by Kathleen is in my opinion the biggest mystery of the whole series. And there are tons of completely unnecessary drama in the story that made me nearly leave this book unfinished.

I have just read the blurb of the fourth book in this series and discovered that Kathleen and Blake are still separated. It looks to me like a never ending drama, I'm off with this series.

In the second entry in the Kathleen Turner series, Blane Kirk is arguing a politically volatile case in which a Navy SEAL is being sued by the District Attorney for a wrongful death of an American citizen while participating in an operation in Iraq. Blane, himself a former SEAL, feels strongly about the case, especially since the man who was killed had become a traitor to the US and the District Attorney arguing the case is none other than James who tried to kill Kathleen. When Kathleen is threatened by the people behind the opposition, Blane is certain that making it seem as though he and Kathleen are no longer involved will keep her safe, but in his determination to make it appear that they have separated, Blane becomes involved with his former girlfriend, Kandi, and pushes Kathleen toward his enigmatic brother, Kade.

Turn to Me is a wonderful romp into the overly dramatic and excessively emotional world of Kathleen and Blane. However, the characters grabbed me and held on throughout the story, especially Kade as more of his past and his relationship with his brother is revealed. Overall, the action and adventure in this book is very engaging, making this an extremely enjoyable read that I finished in one sitting.

Very good second Novel. Some authors let the writing fall off but I was totally captivated. I like Kade better and I like how Kathleen is cracking his armour. I'm not too sure about Blane. This girl is a mess and her nine lives are running out. Very fast paced read and I love it!

I'm not usually a suspense/mystery reader, but more of a romantic junky, but I loved the Kathleen Turner novels! Turn to Me is the second book and was just as good as the first. Lots of twists and turns and new suspects.Hot hot hot is Blane and Kade! And without adding spoilers, I'll just say something that happens almost begs for Kathleen to turn away from Blane! I never expected his explanation. I only hope there's another one to come because I wasn't satisfied with the ending; I wanna know what they do after that specific person leaves. I want to know what next with Kathleen? And what about the brother's?Tiffany, I hope you are working on the next book! ;>
