- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I found this one a bit on the inane side, but my 6 year old son, who often finds easy readers boring, couldn't stop laughing and wanted to re-read it repeatedly.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Good story, but billed as an easy reader and I think the book is too long for a level 1 beginning reader. My daughter was tired of the book by halfway through and had me read the rest to her. Decent pictures, but my children don't like when the pictures tell you something along with the words because then they can't focus on one or the other. This especially bothers an early reader because they are so focused on the words the first time through that if the words don't tell all the story, they don't understand because they barely saw the pictures.
