      The book Seven Wonders Book 2: Lost in Babylon, is about after they find the Loculi of flight. Then the team Jack, Aly, Marco, and Cass start looking for the second Loculi in the hanging Gardens of Babylon. When they get there they start looking around the ancient ruins. Next to them is a river that nobody notices until Marco says “maybe the Hanging Gardens didn’t disappear but instead went somewhere else.” The group gets in the river and then one by one they fall unconscious, when they awaken they find themselves on the shore. When they looked around they noticed that it looked nothing like it had before. In front of them stood the lost Hanging Gardens of Babylon! They start checking things out, but get captured by the king’s guards. After this, and after they escape they look around the hanging Gardens, but they are attacked by a Magician whose job was to protect the hanging gardens. They run for the river and back to the present day and find out that a month had passed by. Later they return back to Babylon to the Hanging Gardens to the cave that they had spotted before they were attacked by the magician. The cave was filled with booby-traps though Cass was able to mentally map out the path when they reach the second loculi they learn that it gave the power of invisibility. They return to the present and find out that Marco betrayed the others and joined the other team trying to find the loculi for destruction. They are all kidnapped and taken to be “special guests” at their base in the Great Pyramid of Giza.This book is a great second book to Seven Wonders: Colossus Rising. The Author does a great job of adding in stuff like portals to the past and Magical orbs. The author also adds some history about the seven wonders of the ancient world. I like who there are feelings of betrayal, shock, and utter amazement. Still a must read for students in fifth through seventh grades. The Author is an experienced writer and makes you feel like you are with the characters.

      The seven wonders series is not bad, but comparisons to Rick Riordan's young adult series are inevitable, and this one comes out as a poor relation I'm afraid. There is some mystery involved, and I'll continue reading to find out the answers.

      I'm 60 yrs old and i am loving this series!!! This particular book was fantastic... the moral/ethical dilemmas, the world history, the characters, the adventure! The narrator brings depth & skill for a great listening experience too. On to #3, can't wait!

      This was a little slow. Still a great concept in the story and the underlying tale of the two groups is growing and getting more entwined with our protagonist!! Still ended on a great cliff hanger :)

      I like the introduction of string theory, wormholes and physics in general into this adventure. It's one thing to try and work out what Cass is always saying backwards, another to work out repeating decimal patterns, covert obscure fractions and understand differences in how time passes on either side of the wormhole. An excellent adventure and themes of friendship, family and betrayal.

      I read this book with my son and it was a decent read. I enjoyed the first half of the book when Jack, Cass, Ally, and Marco journey into a sort of time rift of old Babylon. This was very cool and it was neat to learn about the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The second part of the book was a bit more boring as we deal with the Massa. There is a lot of losing and refinding the Loculi which felt kind of repetitive. The kids are struggling a lot with whom to trust, the Karai Institute or the Massa.I enjoy that there is a lot of adventure and some humor in these books. Me and my son both find them to be fairly engaging reads. They are not our favorite books, but they are fun all the same. I do like the conversation and humor a lot; it just makes the books more fun to read out loud.Overall a good continuation of this series. I would recommend to middle grade readers who love action and adventure novels. I think adults might get a bit bored with the repetitive plot, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for adults. We will most likely continue with this series because my son seems to enjoy it.

      Easy listening, great voice acting. Would recommend if you've read percy jackson and the lightning thief. Has a similar light, goofy feel to the story.

      I think if I had been allowed to see more of the internal workings of other characters (not that the main character is boring but that it's nice to see what others are thinking) I would have loved to keep reading this series. Instead it felt kind of one note and I think I'm done reading it.
