About this audiobook
Chase Dagger is a private detective with seemingly no past, an on-again off-again fiancee, a scarlet macaw with photographic memory and an attitude, and Sara as his beautiful and mysterious young assistant. Chase also seems to only inherit the most unusual of cases. Such as when Sara witnesses the murder of a woman she cannot identify. Then, while visiting the Tyler Mansion, she sees a picture of Rachel Tyler. The woman in the picture appears to be the murder victim, except she was supposedly already dead. Rachel couldn't be dead again...could she? Who would want to kill her again, and why? It will take all of Sara's mysterious abilities, and Chase's skill as an investigator to discover how Rachel could die twice.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Oh this is SSSOOOOO baaaaad! Low brow, poor use of the language, (an example: The author clearly means to use the phrase "In light of recent events" meaning "because of..." - but instead uses "In lieu of recent events" which means "instead of recent events..." which makes no sense.) Everybody is a sexist - even the good guys. Nonfacts are stated as facts. For instance there is a great explanation of Tai Chi... except that everything said is completely wrong/untrue. Etc etc. I realize this is a partly fantasy book, but if you want to take readers along with your story, you have to make yourself at least slightly believable.
And then there is the reader. Oh nevermind. It all sucks. Look elsewhere. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Probably would be a better read if I had read the first story.
