    Dick Couch served as a Special Warfare Officer with the SEALs after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy. While a platoon leader with SEAL Team One in 1970, he led one of the only successful POW rescue operations of the Vietnam War.       I generally enjoy all Clancy books, and this one was was a good listen.

      This book is absolutely amazing. There is no other way to describe this book.ACT OF VALOR is a novelization of the movie of the same name, which is about a group of men who are members to the Bandito Platoon of Navy Seal Team Seven.A CIA operative is kidnapped and the Banditos are tasked with rescuing her, and when they learn of a terror attack aimed at killing innocent people, the team is off to track down those responsible. Act of Valor is a great look at what most people never get to experience, and Act Of Valor takes you into the thick of it, and everything is described so well that you'll picture the sights and sounds of ammo going downrange.You get to experience the tight bond between the team and their families who may never see them again. From the first page to the last page....this book takes you through all the action.
